Yoga- Gluteus Maximus

Yesterday, I went to a yoga class at Nandi Yoga.

In the class I learned about the gluteus Maximus. The Gluteus Maximus is the strongest muscle in the body. It is connected to the coccyx and is located in the …… behind. The Gluteus Maximus is incessantly used during standing and walking. Tightness of the gluteus Maximus can limit to forward bending at the hips, and those of you may know the pose ,Uttanasana. If the Gluteus Maximus is not stretched (meaning sitting in a car or in front of the computer for hours), then you may have the trouble with walking or standing the next day.
