Malala Yousafzai

As  many of you may know, in this world, not all girls have the fortunate right for education. There are about 62 million girls who are out of school and 70 countries where girls face violence in going to school. One girl, Malala Yousafzai, is changing her world while changing others by promoting girls education everywhere. She was shot by the Taliban on October 9th, 2012.

Today, I went to watch an interview between Malala Yousafzai (author of I am Malala) and Khaled Hosseini (author of The Kite Runner). As Mr.Hosseini asked her questions, Malala answered them smoothly relating to her book at certain times. When she said that she forgave the boy who shot her, I really understood how peaceful she was. Also when she was shot, the bullet did not silence her, it kept her going. After her treatment in England, she continued to fight for girls education, never giving up.

I really hope that people in countries that support education for girls understand that they are really lucky to have the opportunity to learn, without having to fight. Please help Malala raise money to help girls get the right to learn.
