Why Self-Care is important

Self Care can just be a few basic habits to incorporate into your day. Even though life can be overwhelming at times, it is still very important to take care of yourself. Not only can self-care improve your day, it can also help you be more productive and have a stronger mental health.

Self-Care Tips:

Exercise

Exercise can help relieve stress and avoid burnouts. My favorite fitness instructor, Cassey Ho, in one of her videos says “If there is enough time to check social media for 5 minutes, then there is definitely enough time to exercise.”

Drink Water

Stay hydrated and drink lots of water. Drinking water can make you happier and more productive.

Write

I love to write. At the end of the day, I write in my diary (my aunt gave me one for 10 years!). Writing can help you understand yourself better.

Relax

Lastly, it is important to do something that you appreciate and that you love doing. Take time to relax: brew some good tea, have a bath. Take care of yourself!
