My Chrome Extensions

Chrome Extensions are super cool. They can do a variety of things – from styling your home screen, to making you more productive, and even helping you save money by checking for better prices and coupons.

Over the past few days, I built 2 Chrome Extensions that are more browser based without much interaction with the user.

Tea Time is a Chrome Extension that gives you a new tea with a picture, title, description, and link every time you open a new tab. This Chrome Extension is the first one that I built. The purpose of this Chrome Extension is for tea enthusiasts and others to be able to enjoy and see what kinds of teas are out in the market.

Zen Worlds is my second Chrome Extension. This Chrome Extension generates a new picture and a new Japanese proverb (with English Translation) every day. The purpose of this Chrome Extension is to keep you inspired and focused at the same time.

For both of these extensions, I used 4 main files: an HTML file and an associated CSS file, a JSON file, and finally a javascript file. Chrome Extensions are great, simple projects for people who want to start developing things and putting them out into the world. I’m happy that I was able to finish these extensions by myself as an 8th grader!

It would be awesome if you install my chrome extensions! Any feedback is greatly appreciated:)
